The Art Of Living A Satisfied Life

The Art of Living a Satisified Life Course For Employers

If your team is showing signs of stress related absence, plateaued engagement, or staff who are present but not really contributing, an employee wellbeing programme built around psychological flexibility can help.

Is Your Team Showing These Signs?

Rising absence linked to stress. Engagement scores that have plateaued despite other initiatives. Managers spending more time managing conflict than developing their people. Staff who are present but not really contributing. If any of this sounds familiar, the issue usually isn’t a skills gap, it’s how your people relate to the uncomfortable thoughts and feelings that come up when they need to have a hard conversation, raise a concern, or manage pressure without it spilling into everything else.

The Real Cost of Getting Stuck

Left unaddressed, this shows up as disengagement, avoidable conflict, absence linked to stress, and staff who are physically present but not really contributing. Most workplace wellbeing initiatives never move the needle on any of this.

The Art of Living a Satisfied Life is an employee wellbeing programme that teaches psychological flexibility, a well researched skill that helps people take meaningful action even when it feels uncomfortable to do so. It’s the same approach I use with executive teams and housing associations across Northern Ireland, distilled into a format your staff can complete around their existing workload.

How This Employee Wellbeing Programme Works for Your Team

A staff briefing session: I run a short, informational briefing so your people understand what the programme involves and what it asks of them.

Voluntary sign up: Participation is entirely up to each individual. Nobody is required to take part, and nobody is identified if they choose not to. This keeps trust intact and means everyone who enrols genuinely wants to be there.

Seven bite sized modules: Each participant works through the programme independently, in their own time, alongside their normal role. Most teams complete the full rollout, from briefing to final coaching session, within four to five weeks.

A one to one coaching session: Every participant finishes with a 75 minute individual session to embed what they’ve learned and apply psychological flexibility to their own situation.

Why Organisations Choose This Employee Wellbeing Programme

Proven results: In pilots with Clarke Construction and Miscampbell & Co, participants reported an overall Net Promoter Score of +64, with 73% noticing a positive change. These are strong, consistent indicators of how this lands with real teams.

Feedback from Participants:

“Life outside working hours is short, and this time is valuable and needs protected for what’s important, not wasted. Health, family and me all need given time.”

“It helps you to take a step back and realise how important you are in all your roles in life.”

Low commitment, high trust: Because participation is voluntary, you introduce a genuine wellbeing benefit without asking anyone to do something they’re not ready for.

Delivered by a specialist: I’m Ireland’s only Certified ACT and ProSocial Matrix Facilitator, with a decade of experience applying psychological flexibility with executive teams, housing associations, and healthcare organisations across Northern Ireland. Fits alongside what you already do: This programme complements TEIQue assessments, employee engagement surveys, and psychological safety at work, so it can sit within a wider people strategy rather than standing alone.

Investment

Cost depends on the process and level of involvement; briefing format, number of participants, and coaching capacity all shape the final scope. Most organisations find this out on an initial call, with no obligation to proceed.
